Privacy notice

This page explains what happens to the details you type into the contact form on this site: what is collected, why, who else sees it, and how to have it removed. It covers nothing else, because the site does nothing else with your data.

Who is responsible

Kevin Chivacharoen, trading as Novamate, based in California, United States, is the data controller for the information described here.

For anything on this page — including a request to see or delete your data — write to kevin@novamate.io. It reaches Kevin directly.

What this site collects

Only what you type into the form, and only when you press Send. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no session recording, and no third-party JavaScript of any kind on this site. Nothing is collected from you while you read.

This site sets no cookies.

When you submit the form, these fields are sent:

The form also contains a hidden field that real visitors never see or fill in. It exists to catch automated spam, and its contents are only ever checked for emptiness.

Why, and on what basis

The information is used for one purpose: to read your enquiry and reply to it. It is not used to build a profile, it is not combined with data from anywhere else, and it is never sold, rented, or shared for anyone else's marketing.

Where UK or EU data protection law applies to your enquiry, the lawful basis is legitimate interests — you asked to be contacted about a possible working relationship, and replying is the obvious consequence. You can object to that at any time by emailing the address above.

You will not be added to a mailing list. Submitting this form does not sign you up to anything.

Who else processes it

Your submission is passed to three services. Each acts as a processor on Novamate's behalf, and each holds a copy of the fields you submitted:

ServiceWhat it does with it
Web3FormsDelivers your submission to Kevin as an email, and sends you an acknowledgement.
AirtableStores the enquiry as a record, and generates a suggested first reply from what you wrote.
Google (Gmail / Apps Script)Places that suggested reply in Kevin's drafts, and carries the eventual correspondence.

Novamate operates from California, and all three providers process and store data in the United States. If you write from the UK, the EU, or anywhere else outside the US, your information is transferred to the United States and held there under the safeguards those providers maintain.

No reply is ever sent automatically. The suggested draft is only a starting point — Kevin reads and rewrites it before anything reaches you. Nothing is sent to you by a machine.

How long it is kept

Enquiries are kept until you ask for yours to be deleted, or until two years after our last contact, whichever comes first. If we end up working together, the correspondence is kept for as long as our business records require.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or object to it being held at all. Email kevin@novamate.io and you will get a reply within one month, usually far sooner.

You do not need a reason, and asking will never affect how you are treated.

If you are a California resident, you may ask what personal information has been collected about you, ask for it to be deleted, and ask for it to be corrected. Novamate does not sell or share personal information, and has never done so, so there is nothing to opt out of. You will not be treated differently for exercising any of this.

If you are in the UK or EU and think your data has been mishandled, you can complain to your national data protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes affecting people who have already submitted the form will be sent to them by email.
